The Saint James School Cross Country team was formed in 2012 with the purpose of providing children an opportunity to try the sport of cross country in a fun and supportive environment. Our goal is for all interested students to participate, challenge themselves, and have fun with their friends. We hope you can join us!
 
Meets generally consist of one event of varying distance per age group; generally 0.75 miles for grades 3-4, 1.25 miles for grades 5-6, and 1.75+ miles for grades 7-8.  There is also normally a short distance fun run for 2nd Grade and younger.  Meets are generally 2-3 hours in length, followed by an awards ceremony.
 
We generally attend 5-6 invitational meets.
