Miss Dominika Kolasinski started teaching science to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Saint James School in September of 2020. She works hard every day to bring the content of science to life for her students as they learn about earth, biological, chemical, and physical sciences and participate in labs based on the scientific method. She is currently organizing Saint James School's first ever S.T.R.E.A.M. Fair, in which students will be researching a problem in the real world, coming up with solutions, designing prototypes, and presenting their ideas. Miss Kolasinski graduated with her B.S. in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2018, along with her teaching certification of K-12 sciences. Her teaching philosophy focuses on helping students make personal connections with the content, encouraging them to be successful, and bringing a variety of learning experiences to inspire them to learn about how the world around them works.
