I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Kean University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of New Jersey.
During the past four years, I have been in the Summit Public Schools, where I have taught kindergarten, two long terms leave positions in third grade, as well as long term leave positions in Resource Room/Basic Skills and ESL. I have taught kindergarten, a kindergarten/Grade 1 class, and second grade at Pasir Ridge Intercultural School in Indonesia. Prior to that, I spent five years at Cairo American College in Cairo, Egypt, where I taught kindergarten for three years, followed by two years in third grade. I started my teaching career in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, where I taught kindergarten for 11 years. I enjoy traveling, baking, reading, and being in the outdoors. I grew up as a third culture child since I lived overseas in Venezuela, Norway, the Cote d’Ivoire, and England for 14 years with my family. Since then, I have continued traveling and exploring.
